Her primary clinical focus has been addictions and co-occurring conditions, working with both adolescents and adults to manage the many challenges that accompany substance-related or addictive disorders. She has also worked with a wide range of other concerns and with diverse populations, providing therapy in individual, family, and group settings. Many people wonder whether therapy delivered remotely can truly help. For a range of common concerns - such as stress, anxiety, depression, relationship challenges, or navigating life changes - online therapy has been shown to be comparable in effectiveness to traditional in-person sessions.
One of the clear benefits is flexibility. People can connect with their therapist in the format that works best for them: video sessions, phone calls, live chat, or in-app messaging. This flexibility often makes it easier to incorporate therapy into a busy schedule.
All participating therapists are licensed professionals, and clients have the option to change therapists if they prefer a different fit. Online therapy can therefore be a practical and effective option for many seeking support.
