Glenn House

Holistic Jungian therapist specializing in trauma and relationships

About

Hi, I am Glenn. Decades of working with people as a teacher, salesman, builder, and counselor have confirmed what I was taught in graduate school. The most powerful instrument I have in promoting change and healing is my relationship with a client. The Covid-19 restrictions have taught me that I can achieve healing relationships through on-line video platforms. I can continue to use Family Systems Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, and many other treatments that are evidence-based. I am well experienced in working with Children and Adolescents with years of experience treating them and their families in their homes. I have been extensively trained in treating trauma reactions in children and adults. I hold a master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy from Liberty University and am fully prepared to integrate science and faith to the degree that you are comfortable in order to gain success and healing. My license is as a Professional Counselor in Michigan. If I could help you with depression, anxiety, parenting, relational issues, or reactions to trauma, I would appreciate the opportunity.

Based in Michigan, he emphasizes that the relationship between therapist and client is the most powerful tool for promoting change and healing.

He earned a master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy from Liberty University and holds a Michigan professional counselor license (MI LPC 6401013113). The COVID-19 pandemic demonstrated to him that meaningful therapeutic relationships can be developed through online video platforms, and he continues to offer remote care when it fits a client’s needs.

Glenn uses Family Systems Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, and a range of other evidence-based approaches tailored to each person. He has extensive experience working with children and adolescents and their families in home settings, and he has received focused training in treating trauma reactions in both children and adults.

Comfort with integrating science and faith guides his practice when clients wish to include spiritual perspectives as part of treatment. He is prepared to work with people facing depression, anxiety, parenting and relational challenges, or reactions to trauma, and welcomes the opportunity to support those seeking healing.

Is Online Therapy the Right Choice for Your Mental Health Journey?

Many people wonder whether remote therapy can produce real results. For common concerns such as stress, anxiety, depression, relationship struggles, or adapting to life changes, online therapy has been shown to be comparable in effectiveness to in-person sessions.

One major benefit is flexibility – individuals can connect in the format that best suits their schedule and comfort, including video calls, phone sessions, live chat, or in-app messaging. This range of options often makes it easier to maintain consistency and fit therapy into a busy life.

Licensed professionals provide these services, and clients have the option to change therapists if they feel a different fit would be more helpful. For many people, online therapy offers an accessible and effective way to address everyday mental health concerns and relationship challenges.
