Holistic Jungian therapist specializing in trauma and relationships
I am a registered counsellor in the UK with 4 years of professional work experience, working with clients from different backgrounds. I have experience in helping clients with stress and anxiety, relationship issues, motivation, self esteem, and confidence, & depression. I believe that you are the expert of your story and that you have many strengths that will assist you in overcoming things that challenge you. Taking the first step to seeking a more fulfilling and happier life takes courage. I am here to support you in that process.
I can assure you that my approach to counselling is far from intimidating (because therapy can be scary, right?). I want to hear you out, be there for you on your journey, and make it less painful with the use of creativity to make it interesting while also gaining something long-term for you to carry with you after therapy. In our sessions, we’ll get real, laugh, and go through whatever you need. I am trained in Person-Centered, Psychodynamic, Cognitive, CBT, and Behavioural therapy and I use the approach that I feel is the right one for you as I think every individual is unique in their own way.

Ghada Akkad is a registered counsellor in the United Kingdom with five years of professional experience supporting people from diverse backgrounds. She works with a wide range of concerns including stress and anxiety, relationship difficulties, motivation, self-esteem and confidence issues, depression, coping with life changes, addictions, family matters, trauma and abuse, grief, career questions, and compassion fatigue.
Ghada approaches therapy with the belief that each person is the expert of their own story and already has strengths to draw on when facing challenges. She recognises that reaching out for support takes courage and offers steady, empathic guidance throughout that process.
Her manner is intended to be approachable rather than intimidating – she listens, stays present, and uses creativity to keep sessions engaging while helping clients develop practical, long-term tools. Ghada is trained in Person-Centered, Psychodynamic, Cognitive, CBT, and Behavioural therapy and selects the approach she judges to be best suited to each individual. In sessions she aims to be genuine, to share moments of levity when appropriate, and to work through whatever a client needs.
Many people wonder whether therapy delivered online can truly make a difference. For common concerns such as stress, anxiety, depression, relationship challenges, or navigating life changes, evidence shows that remote therapy can be just as effective as traditional in-person work.
One of the key advantages is flexibility – clients can connect with a therapist in the way that feels most comfortable, whether by video calls, phone sessions, live chat, or in-app messaging. That flexibility often makes it simpler to fit therapy into a busy life.
These services are provided by licensed professionals, and if a different fit is needed it is possible to switch therapists at any time.
