About

As a Therapist I completed my Master degree in Marriage and Family Counseling in 2001, at New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary. I have training in families and couples, parenting issues, self-esteem, grief and loss, psychological trauma, depressive mood disorders, ADHD, and anxiety disorders. My two greatest interests are the trauma that comes from a loss in our lives and helping couples work through a crisis in their relationship. Is Online Therapy the Right Fit for Your Needs?

Many people wonder whether remote counseling can truly help. For common concerns such as stress, anxiety, depression, relationship struggles, or managing life transitions, online therapy has been found to be as effective as traditional in-person care for most people.

One major benefit is flexibility – clients can meet with a therapist in the format that best fits their schedule and comfort level, whether by video call, phone session, live chat, or in-app messaging. This adaptability makes it easier to incorporate therapy into everyday life.

Sessions are provided by licensed professionals and, if someone feels a different match would be better, it is possible to switch therapists. Online therapy offers a range of options that can support healing and progress while fitting into the practical demands of daily life.
