Garon Sheppard offers practical, compassionate support for people facing stress, anxiety, addictions, grief, anger, depression, relationship and family difficulties, trauma and abuse, low self-esteem, bipolar challenges, and life transitions. He brings nine years of counselling experience alongside a 16-year background working in the addictions, homelessness, and housing sectors, which informs a grounded, empathetic approach.
Having personally navigated addiction, homelessness and grief, Garon draws on lived experience as well as formal training to support others through recovery and growth. He practices person-centred counselling and integrates Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT) and other psychotherapeutic approaches to suit each individual.
Garon is an Accredited Registrant MNCPS (Acc.) and an Anxiety UK Approved Counsellor. He identifies as a male therapist and offers non-religious practice, providing coaching as part of his work to help clients build resilience and practical coping strategies.
Services include online counselling, walk-and-talk therapy available in and around Witney, Burford, Carterton and across Oxfordshire, Reiki healing and mindfulness practices. These options are offered to meet clients where they are and to support steady, sustainable progress.
He aims to create a non-judgemental space where people can explore emotions, uncover strengths and develop realistic strategies for change. Those interested in learning more or arranging an initial conversation can visit www.garongreentherapies.com to find out about services and availability.
