I am a Licensed Professional Counselor in the state of Georgia and a Certified Clinical Trauma Professional. I have provided services in outpatient & community settings, crisis stabilization units, and psychiatric hospitals. I have over 9 years of experience with various populations with a wide variety of mental health concerns, ranging from serious persistent mental illnesses, addictions, crisis stabilization, anxiety depression & suicidal ideation.
My counseling style is to promote the inner abilities of my clients to be the captains of their vessels as I help navigate them through whatever storm they may be going through. I utilize Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Motivational Interviewing & some aspects of Play Therapy in my practice and strongly emphasize the importance of maintaining appropriate boundaries within the therapeutic alliance.
