Holistic Jungian therapist specializing in trauma and relationships
Asking for help can in many ways be the hardest step to take, and it may be that it has taken you some time to get this far. You might be feeling a bit overwhelmed by the thought of embarking on this process. Allow me to accompany you on your journey towards healing and growth.
Having worked for many years with a mental Health charity I have recently started my own private practice. I practice as a Pluralistic Counsellor which recognises that there are a variety of approaches and methods which may be helpful to clients. I provide a non-judgemental safe space where clients can be supported to explore themselves, their lives and possible changes.
I endeavour to use warmth, kindness and integrity to allow us to establish a trusting and honest partnership. Confidentiality is a critical and integrative part of this partnership and will only be breached where there is a serious risk of harm to yourself or others
This will allow us to collaboratively plan a way forward. My person-centred approach means that all sessions will be built around your needs rather than following a pre existing plan. I like to use regular check-ins to ensure that sessions continue to meet those needs.

Fiona Connell recognises that asking for help is often the hardest step and that it may take time to reach out. She offers calm support and companionship as people begin a process of healing and personal growth.
With three years of experience and a background working with a mental health charity, she has recently established a private practice. Fiona works as a pluralistic counsellor, which means she draws on a range of therapeutic methods to find what best supports each person.
She provides a non-judgemental, safe space where individuals can explore their lives and consider change. Fiona aims to bring warmth, kindness and integrity to the therapeutic relationship, building trust through an open and honest partnership. Confidentiality is treated as an integral part of that partnership and will only be set aside where there is a serious risk of harm to the client or others.
Sessions are person-centred and are shaped around the needs of the individual rather than a fixed plan. Fiona works collaboratively to create a way forward and uses regular check-ins to make sure the work continues to meet those needs.
Many people ask whether meeting with a therapist remotely can really help. For common concerns such as stress, anxiety, depression, relationship difficulties or coping with life changes, online therapy has been found to be comparable in effectiveness to traditional in-person sessions.
One major benefit is flexibility – you can connect in the way that suits you best, whether that is a video call, a phone session, live chat or in-app messaging. This flexibility makes it easier to fit therapy into a busy life and to maintain continuity of care.
Therapists offering online work are licensed professionals, and if you decide a different fit would be better you can switch to another therapist at any time. For many people, the combination of professional support and practical convenience makes online therapy a viable and accessible option.
