Holistic Jungian therapist specializing in trauma and relationships
Hello:
After working twenty years as a mental health professional(court psychologist, outpatient social work therapist), I have come to respect the courage it can take for anyone to conclude that they need to trust someone else to help them resolve some personal conflict in their own life and to then achieve their treatment goals weather they are short or long term. I look forward to working with those who have made the choice to move forward and achieve their goals to change their lives. I am more comfortable working using the phone and video features in the Better Help platform. It may be depression, anxiety, work related stress, impaired interpersonal relationships, family conflicts, or internal conflict related to just adjusting to the life you thought you would have by now. I am a good listener. Getting to know you requires that I am. My goal is to help you stay on track to achieve those goals you say are important. I will point out potential obstacles and help you gain clarity and direction but as you know, it is your life . If I can help you step back, survey your life, and ascertain what you see as hindering your goals and take your life from where it is to where you want it to be, I look forward to hearing from you.

With 25 years as a mental health professional, Evelyn Foreman brings experience from roles such as court psychologist and outpatient social work therapist to her clinical work. She acknowledges the courage it takes for someone to reach out for help and prefers to work with individuals who have chosen to move forward toward meaningful change.
Foreman is comfortable providing sessions by phone and by video, and she notes she is most at ease using the phone and video features in the Better Help platform. She works with a range of concerns, including depression, anxiety, work-related stress, strained interpersonal and family relationships, and the internal conflicts that can emerge when life looks different than expected.
Known as a careful listener, her approach centers on getting to know each person so she can support them in staying on track with their treatment goals, whether those goals are short term or long term. She helps clients identify potential obstacles, gain clarity, and find direction while recognizing that the client remains in charge of their life and choices.
She holds a Master of Social Work and is licensed to practice in Michigan; her license number is 6801021671. Foreman looks forward to working with people who are ready to take steps toward the life changes they want to make.
For many common concerns – such as stress, anxiety, depression, relationship challenges, or navigating life changes – online therapy has been shown to be just as effective as traditional in-person sessions. It offers an accessible way to address these issues without changing the core therapeutic work.
One major advantage is flexibility. People can connect in the format that feels most comfortable to them – video calls, phone sessions, live chat, or in-app messaging – which can make it easier to integrate therapy into a busy schedule.
Therapy delivered online is provided by licensed professionals and therapists, and clients can request a different clinician if they feel a different fit would be more helpful. This approach aims to make consistent care more achievable while preserving the same professional standards as face-to-face treatment.
