Emily Schram finds deep reward in supporting clients as they work toward a life that feels meaningful and sustainable. She works with adolescents and adults to reshape self-perception, build practical skills, and strengthen relationships so clients can pursue greater peace, hope, and joy.
There is no single method that fits everyone, so Emily draws from a range of training that includes Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavior Therapy, and client-centered approaches to tailor care to each person’s needs.
She holds a Master’s degree in Counseling from the University of Mississippi and a B.A. in Psychology from the University of Memphis, and she has provided outpatient therapy in community and private clinic settings. Emily brings 8 years of clinical experience and is licensed to practice as a clinical professional counselor in New Mexico and as a professional counselor in Wisconsin. She recently relocated to Albuquerque, New Mexico.
Emily uses she/her pronouns and looks forward to connecting with people who are ready to begin or continue their personal journey toward the life they want.
Many people wonder whether remote counseling can really help. For common concerns such as stress, anxiety, depression, relationship challenges, or navigating life changes, online therapy has been shown to be as effective as traditional in-person care for most individuals.
One major benefit is flexibility - clients can choose the format that works best for them, whether that is video sessions, phone calls, live chat, or in-app messaging. This flexibility makes it easier to fit therapy into busy schedules and to maintain continuity of care.
Licensed professionals provide these services, and if someone decides a different therapist would be a better match, switching is an option. For many people, online therapy offers an accessible, effective path to working on everyday mental health concerns and life transitions.
