Dr. Edward Suarez

Aloha. Dr. Edward Suarez is a licensed clinical psychologist based in Hawaii with 20 years of experience consulting, training, and providing mental health services to a diverse range of individuals around the world. His work has included practice in Florida and Hawaii, and he was recently headquartered in Morocco assisting U.S. Peace Corps volunteers as they adjusted to life in Africa, the Middle East, and Eastern Europe.

Dr. Suarez earned his doctoral degree from the University of Hawaii, where he concentrated on cross-cultural approaches to severe mental illnesses such as schizophrenia, bipolar disorder, and major depression. Since completing his doctorate, he has expanded his clinical focus to include adjustment issues, stress and coping, and anxiety disorders - including social anxiety, obsessive-compulsive disorder, and phobias.
