Holistic Jungian therapist specializing in trauma and relationships
Hello and Welcome! My name is Ebony Clayton, LCSW and I’m thrilled about the opportunity to work with you. If you’re reading this, you have taken the first step towards healing and personal growth. I have training and experience in working with: depression, anxiety, relationship problems/marital difficulties, God-image issues, interaction with the foster care system, infertility, adoption and post adoptive support, and working with adolescents.
I bring a well-rounded perspective into my therapy practice that integrates a wholistic (whole person centered) and eclectic approach, utilizing strategies that consider the interconnectedness of physical, spiritual, and mental/emotional health. Finding balance between these three is an important key to overall well-being.
I use several evidenced based therapies in my practice such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Person Centered Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, and Solution Focused Therapy.
Every person is unique in themselves and in their set of circumstances therefore I emphasize the key role of the minds cognitions in determining behaviors, and the interconnectedness between a person’s thoughts, feelings, and behaviors. I structure my sessions based on client need while using unconditional positive regard and a nonjudgmental stance.
