Deborah Lee

Deborah Lee is a dual diagnosis counselor independently licensed to treat both mental health and substance use concerns, though her addiction/substance abuse licensure is temporarily on hold at her request. She brings 31 years of clinical experience to her practice, including more than twenty years working in face-to-face therapy.

She is trained in a range of therapeutic approaches, including cognitive behavioral therapy, solution-focused work, trauma-informed care, reality therapy, existential perspectives, and motivational interviewing. Deborah also incorporates a didactic, teaching-oriented method to address practical skills such as communication, conflict resolution, stress and anxiety reduction, self-esteem assessment, and tools for building healthier relationships.

Deborah places strong emphasis on the therapeutic relationship and works to create a safe environment where clients feel valued, heard, respected, and supported. She encourages open and honest dialogue and approaches therapy as a collaborative team effort rather than judgement.

Her stated goal is to assist clients on a path of self-discovery, healing, and growth. Deborah is a licensed independent social worker in Ohio (LISW) and looks forward to working with individuals who have taken the important step of reaching out for help.
