Holistic Jungian therapist specializing in trauma and relationships
My professional view of counseling is that it is a journey of self exploration by the client, using therapy as a guide to self understanding & self awareness. I, as a marriage and family therapist, use the skills that I have learned and developed throughout my education and clinical experience to facilitate growth in my clients. I am not an expert in any of my clients’ lives, but I strive to learn who they are from them and allow them to make decisions for themselves. I allow the client to guide the session so we can talk about the deep rooted problems when they are ready & tackle the daily struggles that cause anxiety & depression.
I use talk therapy as a means of bringing dialogue and relationships to the forefront of the session. Reviewing presenting problems, past therapy experiences, and their goals will determine which theory or framework to use moving forward. In my experience, DBT, CBT, ACT, SFT and Motivational Interviewing have proven to be successful among my clients.
I remain empathetic, supportive, and validating through each session and applaud clients as they grow and learn. Whether the goals are big or small, we will tackle each one and the obstacles that may arise. My philosophy is to teach each client that they are worthy of unconditional acceptance regardless of anything that would lead them to think otherwise.

Deborah Kraidman views counseling as a collaborative journey of self-exploration, with therapy serving as a guide to greater self-understanding and awareness.
As a licensed marriage and family therapist (NY LMFT 002278) practicing in New York, she brings three years of clinical experience to her work and applies skills developed through her education and practice to support client growth.
She does not position herself as the expert in her clients’ lives; rather, she learns who they are from them and supports their ability to make their own decisions. Deborah invites clients to steer sessions so deeper, long-standing issues can be addressed when they are ready while also tackling everyday struggles that contribute to anxiety and depression.
Deborah uses talk therapy to place dialogue and relationships at the center of the work. Reviewing presenting problems, prior therapy experiences, and personal goals helps determine which theoretical framework to use; in her experience DBT, CBT, ACT, SFT, and Motivational Interviewing have been effective.
She maintains an empathetic, supportive, and validating stance throughout sessions and acknowledges progress both large and small. Her guiding philosophy is to help each client understand that they are deserving of unconditional acceptance regardless of anything that might lead them to think otherwise.
Many people ask whether online therapy can truly make a difference. For common concerns such as stress, anxiety, depression, relationship challenges, or navigating life changes, online therapy has been shown to be as effective as traditional in-person sessions.
A major benefit is flexibility – clients can connect in the format that feels most comfortable to them, whether by video call, phone session, live chat, or in-app messaging. This flexibility often makes it easier to fit therapy into a busy schedule.
Licensed professionals deliver online therapy, and clients have the option to switch therapists at any time if they would prefer a different fit. For many people facing everyday emotional struggles or transitions, online therapy offers an accessible and effective way to pursue support and growth.
