Holistic Jungian therapist specializing in trauma and relationships
I get that sometimes life just sucks and when it happens we can feel alone, misunderstood, and stuck. It’s easy to feel embarrassed by the circumstances we find ourselves in which make it even more difficult to reach out and ask for help. Kudos to you for starting out on this journey!
I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with experience in providing both inpatient and outpatient mental health services. I enjoy helping people overcome personal challenges and to improve their quality of life. I believe people are the expert of their own lives and the role of a counselor is to help them use this expertise to overcome challenges and reach their goals. I frequently use humor and laughter in my sessions and I encourage my clients to seek out opportunities to laugh. I want people to be active in the counseling process as I believe counseling is not a spectator sport. Additionally, I enjoy working with people of diverse backgrounds, cultures, and spiritual/religious preferences. People generally tell me it doesn’t feel like therapy and meeting with me isn’t as bad as they thought it would be.
Primary Issues treated include: Anxiety, depression, and ADHD.
I look forward to begin working with you!

David Wynn recognizes that life can feel overwhelming, isolating, and stuck at times, and he acknowledges how hard it can be to reach out for help when circumstances feel embarrassing. He commends anyone who takes the first step toward support.
He is a licensed clinical social worker, licensed in both New Mexico and Idaho, with 15 years of experience providing inpatient and outpatient mental health services. He helps people address a range of concerns – including stress, anxiety, depression, ADHD, grief, sleep difficulties, self-esteem challenges, career-related struggles, coping with life changes, and compassion fatigue – with the aim of improving overall quality of life.
David approaches therapy from the belief that people are the experts on their own lives and that a counselor’s role is to help them use that expertise to meet their goals. He encourages clients to be active participants in the process, viewing counseling as something to engage in rather than observe. Humor and laughter often find a place in his work, and he invites clients to look for moments of levity as part of their healing.
He also values working with people from diverse cultural, spiritual, and religious backgrounds. Many people report that sessions with him do not feel like traditional therapy and that meeting with him is easier than they anticipated. He looks forward to beginning work with new clients.
Many people ask whether virtual therapy truly helps. For common concerns such as stress, anxiety, depression, relationship difficulties, or navigating life changes, online therapy has been shown to be comparable in effectiveness to traditional in-person sessions.
One major benefit is flexibility – you can connect with a therapist in the way that fits your life, whether that is a video call, a phone session, a live chat, or in-app messaging. That flexibility makes it easier to schedule care around work, family, and other commitments.
Therapists offering online services are licensed professionals, and if you decide the match is not right you can switch to a different therapist at any time. This format can make it simpler to access consistent support while still working with qualified clinicians.
