Holistic Jungian therapist specializing in trauma and relationships
I am licensed in Florida with over 40 years of professional experience. I agree with the philosophy that crisis is a combination of danger and opportunity. Human beings are very delicate emotionally and can suffer tremendously. My clinical experiences over the years have been very broad from child service agencies to residential treatment to outpatient psychiatry. Currently I work with individuals and families who struggle with with anxiety, depression, and relationship problems. I welcome longer term, deeper therapy work as well as problem-focused counseling with cognitive-behavioral interventions. Psychotherapy is essentially the process of understanding and embracing the givens of our biology and personality and why we behave and feel the way we do. No more and no less. Responding proactively to problems in one’s health, career, and close relationships can create significant opportunities for positive changes and personal growth. Being married for 42 years (still), raising two kids and contributing to the domestic tranquility with extended family and close friends has been my most challenging and rewarding experience. The quality of my relationships and the quality of my persistent inner dialogue along with my physical health determine the QUALITY of my life.

David Grimm is a Florida-licensed marriage and family therapist (FL LMFT MT952) with more than 40 years of professional practice. He approaches crisis as a mixture of danger and opportunity, believing difficult moments often open paths for meaningful change.
His clinical background is wide-ranging, spanning child service agencies, residential treatment settings, and outpatient psychiatry. David welcomes both longer-term, deeper therapy and shorter-term, problem-focused counseling that uses cognitive-behavioral interventions. He believes that responding proactively to challenges in health, career, and close relationships can create real opportunities for personal growth. Married for 42 years and the parent of two, his family life and long-term friendships have been among his most demanding and rewarding experiences. For him, the quality of close relationships, the tone of one’s inner dialogue, and physical health together shape the overall quality of life.
Many people wonder whether online therapy truly helps. For common concerns such as stress, anxiety, depression, relationship challenges, and navigating life changes, online therapy has been shown to be as effective as traditional in-person sessions.
One major benefit is flexibility – clients can meet with their therapist in the format that suits them best, whether by video call, phone session, live chat, or in-app messaging. That flexibility makes it easier to fit therapy into a busy schedule.
These services are delivered by licensed professionals, and individuals are free to switch therapists whenever they prefer a different fit. Online therapy can be a practical, accessible option for many people seeking support for everyday mental health concerns.
