Holistic Jungian therapist specializing in trauma and relationships
My name is David J. Carlini. I am a licensed clinical social worker (LCSW). This means I have a master’s degree from an accredited school of social work (University of Pittsburgh) and extensive post-master’s supervision in clinical settings. A LCSW provides direct service to clients which addresses inter-personal relationships, individual psychology and life (personal and career) management issues.
I specialize in treating depression, stress and anxiety as well as building motivation, self-esteem and confidence. I also provide assistance regarding career difficulties and executive and professional coaching. My clinical approaches include cognitive behavioral therapy, client centered therapy, mindfulness therapy and solution focused therapy. I want to share that I am also a retired specialty hospital CEO (psychiatry and addiction medicine) with a doctorate in health administration (Central Michigan University) and I am a retired Fellow of the American College of Healthcare Executives. I believe my training, background and experience uniquely positions me to not only help with the psychological aspects of life difficulties but also the practical implications these difficulties have for work and career,
I have been providing therapy to a number of very diverse clients over a number of years. However, I have learned that everyone is unique and I look forward to learning about you and what makes you unique.

Many people ask whether online therapy can produce real results. For common concerns such as stress, anxiety, depression, relationship challenges, and navigating life changes, online therapy has been found to be comparable in effectiveness to traditional in-person sessions.
A major benefit is convenience – clients can choose the format that fits their life, whether that is a video appointment, a phone session, live chat, or in-app messaging. This flexibility makes it easier to maintain regular contact with a therapist and incorporate therapy into a busy schedule.
Licensed professionals provide these services, and if a different therapeutic fit is desired, clients can switch therapists at any time. For many people, online therapy offers an accessible and practical way to address everyday mental health concerns while accommodating personal and professional commitments.
