Holistic Jungian therapist specializing in trauma and relationships

About

Hi, and thank you for checking out my profile!
I am the Director of Western Slope Psychological Services in Colorado, and I am the host and creator of the Peace, Love, & Psychology podcast (https://www.buzzsprout.com/2223218).
I have worked as a Clinical Psychologist in several different settings with a wide variety of clients. I have worked for a community college district, where I saw students for therapy, trained interns to work with students, and administered programs for Veterans, Disabled Students and LGBT Students. I have worked in mental health clinics and in clinics for patients with chronic pain and illness. I have specialized in working with people who have been exposed to traumatic experiences. Throughout my career, I have worked with people who may never have been in therapy before, and so I excel at explaining psychological concepts in ways people can understand and apply in their own lives.
My approach therapeutically is client-centered, so I deeply respect the autonomy and dignity of my patients. I strive to provide a space that is accepting, non-judgmental and solution-oriented. I am trained in and tend to use evidence-based interventions that are cognitive-behavioral, cognitive, or mindfulness oriented. We will work together to help you identify your goals for therapy and develop approaches for achieving them. My ultimate goal for you is for you to learn how to better manage the challenges in your life and to feel empowered to live the life you truly want for yourself. Through our work together, you will receive the support and tools you need to live your best life—let’s get started!

Is Online Therapy the Right Choice for Your Mental Health Journey?

For many common concerns such as stress, anxiety, depression, relationship challenges, or adjusting to life changes, online therapy can be as effective as traditional in-person care. Research and clinical practice support its use for these issues, making it a viable option for people seeking help.

A major advantage of online therapy is flexibility. Clients can connect with a therapist in the format that suits them best – video sessions, phone calls, live chat, or in-app messaging – which makes it easier to integrate treatment into a busy schedule or to access help from different locations.

Licensed professionals deliver online therapy, and clients may change therapists if they feel a different fit would be more helpful. For many people, virtual care provides practical access to effective, evidence-based support for everyday mental health needs.
