Holistic Jungian therapist specializing in trauma and relationships
I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), a Licensed School Social Worker (LSSW), and a Certified Alcohol Drug Counselor (CADC) in the state of North Carolina. For the past 25 years, I have been providing supportive social work services for youth and families in a public school setting. Additionally, I have been offering part-time substance abuse services for 22 years and mental health clinical services for 7 years. My main goal is to assist individuals in overcoming obstacles and reaching their full potential.
Throughout my career, I have worked with diverse age groups and special populations, gaining valuable experience in addressing various mental health conditions such as substance abuse, depression, anxiety, addiction, anger management issues, grief/loss, trauma, and relationship conflicts, among others. In my therapeutic approach, I adopt a Person-Centered perspective. I firmly believe in focusing on an individual’s abilities, rather than their condition, disability, or limitations. By tailoring treatment to their specific needs and circumstances, I aim to help them achieve their personal aspirations. However, depending on the individual’s requirements, treatment goals, and desired outcomes, I may employ different therapeutic interventions such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), and Motivational Interviewing (MI).

Many people wonder whether virtual counseling can truly help. For common concerns such as stress, anxiety, depression, relationship challenges, or adapting to life changes, online therapy has been shown to be just as effective as traditional in-person sessions.
One major benefit is flexibility – clients can connect in the format that feels best for them, whether that is a video appointment, a phone session, live chat, or in-app messaging. This flexibility makes it easier to fit therapy into a busy schedule and maintain continuity of care.
All participating therapists are licensed professionals, and clients have the option to change therapists if they feel a different fit would be more helpful. Online therapy can be a practical way to access skilled support for many everyday mental health concerns.
