Hello!
I am Dr. Courtney Y. Washington (Doctor C), and I encourage you to invite change in your life. Welcome to taking the first step into a brighter future for yourself: I commend you.
I am a Licensed Professional Counselor, and I have been providing counseling services for over 10 years to many adults, families and couples. I enjoy working with a diverse population, and I am able to provide counseling services to fit the individual need of the client served. I have worked in the specialty areas of: depression, stress & anxiety, trauma, grief and loss, self-esteem, pre-marital, marital, couples, families, anger management and mental health including Bi-Polar and Schizophrenia. My primary focus is to first build rapport, establish desired goals, and work with you to achieve those goals. Through the achievement of these goals, I will work to diminish any worry, stress, or anxiety that you may face and will assist with building coping and relaxation skills.
It takes time to achieve your goals, and I am here to work with you throughout your needed time frame, and will work to give you all the needed tools to help you remain successful after counseling is complete.
I am looking forward to meeting and working with you. Here is to a great and bright future ahead!

Many people wonder whether virtual counseling can truly help. For common concerns such as stress, anxiety, depression, relationship struggles, or navigating life transitions, online therapy has been shown to be as effective as traditional in-person sessions for most people.
One of the main benefits is flexibility – clients can connect in the way that fits them best, whether by video call, phone session, live chat, or in-app messaging. This flexibility often makes it easier to integrate therapy into a busy schedule.
Licensed professionals provide online therapy, and clients have the option to change therapists if they want a different fit. For many, remote sessions offer an accessible and practical path to consistent therapeutic support.
