Holistic Jungian therapist specializing in trauma and relationships
Hello, my name is Courtney Burrus! I am so glad you made the brave decision to get help. Everyone needs help here and there and I am here to offer that to you. I am a licensed professional counselor in the state of Texas. I have 8 years of experience working in a private practice setting. For the past 3 years, I have been working in hospital settings to assess and provide clinical treatment for individuals. I have worked with a variety of individuals that include depression, anxiety, trauma, addictions, mood disorders, personality disorders, relationship issues, and family issues.
I believe that we are all unique. I use this principle in counseling. There is not a one-sized fit all approach to counseling. I like to provide clients with an individualist approach tailored to your wants, needs, desires, and struggles. Counseling is deeply personal and I want to honor that by providing a safe, warm, and relaxing environment. I use a variety of approaches such as cognitive-behavioral, existential, and client-centered to help you become a healthier version of yourself. We will walk through whatever life has put in your way together.
I’m so glad that you have taken this important step in your journey. I look forward to working with you!

Many people wonder whether remote counseling can truly help. For common concerns such as stress, anxiety, depression, relationship challenges, or navigating life transitions, online therapy has been shown to be just as effective as traditional in-person sessions.
One major advantage is flexibility – you can connect in the way that works best for you, choosing from video calls, phone sessions, live chat, or in-app messaging. This range of options makes it easier to fit therapy into a busy schedule or to select the format that feels most comfortable.
Online therapy is delivered by licensed professionals, and you have the option to change therapists if you seek a different fit. For many people, virtual sessions provide accessible, practical support for addressing everyday mental health and life concerns.
