Holistic Jungian therapist specializing in trauma and relationships
Hello,
My name is Claudia. A little about me: I graduated in 2013 with a masters degree in psychology and am a licensed Marriage and Family Therapist. I work with children, adults and families who have decided therapy could be a source of support. I emphasize the word DECIDE because therapy will work best when -you’re ready- for reflection, compromise and, when applicable, open for change.
My approach to therapy is strength-based, solution focused and client-centered. Each person’s story is unique; therefore, I use multiple treatment modalities to meet each individual’s needs. I work collaboratively with clients throughout their counseling process and journey to support them in their healing.
Thank you for taking the first step in your healing, and I hope to meet you soon.

Claudia Ulwelling is a licensed Marriage and Family Therapist practicing in California who has offered professional mental health support for eight years. She earned a master’s degree in psychology in 2013 and works with children, adults, and families who have chosen therapy as a source of support.
Claudia places importance on the individual’s readiness to engage – therapy tends to be most effective when a person is prepared for reflection, willing to compromise, and open to change when it applies to their situation. Her clinical approach is grounded in strengths, focused on solutions, and centered on each client’s needs. Because every life story is different, she draws on multiple treatment modalities to tailor care to each person.
Throughout the counseling process Claudia collaborates closely with clients, helping to guide and support them along their path to healing. She appreciates the step it takes to begin therapy and hopes to meet those seeking support soon.
Many people wonder whether online therapy truly helps. For common concerns such as stress, anxiety, depression, relationship challenges, and navigating life changes, research and clinical experience indicate that remote therapy can be as effective as traditional in-person care.
A major benefit is flexibility – clients can choose the format that best fits their needs and comfort level, including video calls, phone sessions, live chat, or in-app messaging. This flexibility makes it simpler to integrate therapy into a busy schedule.
All therapists are licensed professionals, and individuals have the option to switch providers if they feel a different fit would better serve their needs.
