As an Integrative Counsellor, I draw upon various therapeutic theories and interventions tailored to support your unique journey. My core approach is Person-Centred Therapy; this is based on the belief that, given the right conditions, you have the capacity to reach your full potential and become your true self – much like providing a plant with the perfect environment to grow and flourish.
In our sessions, you lead the way. I encourage you to bring whatever issues are most pressing for you, ensuring that the counselling is guided by your needs and not directed by me. Together, we’ll build a safe, trusting, and professional relationship where you feel truly supported, seen, and heard. Claire Latham is an Integrative Counsellor based in the United Kingdom with four years of experience. She works with people affected by stress, anxiety, relationship difficulties, grief, low self-esteem and the challenges that come with life changes.
As an older, female, non-religious therapist, Claire creates a calm and supportive space where clients can explore difficult feelings without judgement. She focuses on helping people find immediate ways to soothe their physical and emotional responses, while also gently exploring the meaning of their experiences and the impact on daily life.
Claire’s practice is grounded in a person-centred approach, supported by a range of integrative techniques tailored to each individual. In sessions the client leads the conversation and Claire offers compassionate listening, practical coping strategies and collaborative reflection to build resilience and clearer direction. Her aim is to help people feel more grounded, better able to manage adversity and to move toward improved wellbeing.
