Holistic Jungian therapist specializing in trauma and relationships
The face of someone who looks for support-looks like mine. Sometimes it’s struggling with anxiety or depression. Maybe diabetes and the toll the healthy management takes on your life. It could also look like a young adult feeling stuck with so many opportunities in the world. It could look like someone who has lost their job or home and turned to Alcohol or Gambling to ease the pain. Or someone who just can’t shake things they may or may not label as TRAUMA in their lives. More important than any of these situations, is the question: How do we regain CONTROL over Happiness and OUR own lives?
I believe in taking a holistic and collaborative approach. This means we work together, as a team to improve your whole life-not just your mental or emotional health. There are multiple ways we can go about finding this answer, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, EFT, EMDR, Addiction models, Mindfulness-based modalities, Motivational Interviewing and, more.
I have been supporting individuals just like you for over 14 years. I am committed to helping people learn how to live their BEST lives! My practice focuses on targeting Anything that stands in your way of functioning as your Best self!

Cynthia “Cindy” Chizewick recognizes the many faces of people who seek support and the varied situations that bring them to therapy. That might look like someone struggling with anxiety or depression, a person managing diabetes and the burden of its daily demands, a young adult who feels overwhelmed by choices, someone who has lost a job or home and turned to alcohol or gambling to cope, or a person who continues to carry events they may or may not label as trauma.
Her practice centers on a practical question: how can someone regain a sense of control over their happiness and their life? She approaches that work with a holistic, collaborative style that aims to improve the whole of a person’s life – not only their mental or emotional symptoms.
She and the person she works with consider a range of pathways toward change, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, EFT, EMDR, addiction-focused models, mindfulness-based modalities, Motivational Interviewing, and other evidence-informed approaches. Sessions are collaborative and tailored to the concerns brought to therapy.
Based in Ohio, Cynthia “Cindy” Chizewick brings 15 years of clinical experience and is licensed to practice clinical social work in Arizona and licensed as an independent social worker in Ohio with supervisory qualifications. She is committed to helping people learn how to live their best lives and focuses on addressing anything that interferes with functioning as one’s best self.
Many people wonder whether remote therapy can truly make a difference. For common concerns such as stress, anxiety, depression, relationship challenges, or navigating life changes, online therapy has been shown to be as effective as traditional in-person sessions.
One of the main benefits is flexibility – individuals can connect in the format that suits them best, whether that is a video call, a phone session, live chat, or in-app messaging. This adaptability often makes it easier to keep therapy consistent amid busy schedules.
All therapy is provided by licensed professionals, and if someone wants a different fit they have the option to switch therapists at any time. For many people, online therapy offers an accessible, evidence-informed way to address everyday mental health concerns and life transitions.
