Holistic Jungian therapist specializing in trauma and relationships
Hello, I am Cierra Batiste, a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in the state of Texas. I am also a National Certified Counselor with over 6 years of counseling experience. I attended undergraduate and graduate school in Tennessee where I also received most of my early experience in counseling. I currently reside in Dallas, TX where I do most of my practice. My background is mostly in trauma, depression, substance abuse and troubled youth. I’m currently a doctoral student under the CES program at Capella University. I am also working on my supervision license to gain additional experiences in the counseling field. I currently work in private practice part time and a current director at a behavioral hospital. My treatment approach is person-centered along with cognitive behavioral therapy. My goal is to help individuals that have went through life challenges that have impeded healthy living. With a collaborative effort, we are able to create positive results.
Regularly I seek out outdoor activities on the weekend. I also have a love for restaurants and experiencing new cultures.

Many people wonder whether remote counseling can truly help. For a range of common concerns – including stress, anxiety, depression, relationship difficulties, and life transitions – online therapy has been shown to be comparable in effectiveness to traditional in-person care for most people.
One of the main benefits is convenience. Clients can connect in the format that works best for them: video sessions, phone calls, live chat, or in-app messaging. This flexibility often makes it easier to maintain continuity of care and fit appointments into a busy schedule.
Therapists offering remote services are licensed professionals, and clients have the option to change therapists if they need a different fit. For many individuals seeking support for everyday mental health concerns, online therapy offers an accessible and effective path forward.
