Holistic Jungian therapist specializing in trauma and relationships
Hello! My name is Dr. Charles Greene and I am a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in the state of Georgia, an Approved Clinical Supervisor (ACS), a Certified Professional Counselor Supervisor (CPCS), a National Certified Counselor (NCC) and a Board Certified-TeleMental Health Provider (BC-TMH). I hold a doctor of behavioral health degree and a master’s degree in clinical mental health counseling. I served 7 years in the Navy stationed with the Marine Corps for at least half of that time, so I am an advocate for veterans and family members of veterans! I help through person-centered therapy techniques such as congruence, unconditional positive regard, and empathy to create an environment that facilitates in the process of self-awareness. I have worked with clients with a wide range of concerns including depression, anxiety, relationship issues, parenting problems, and career challenges. I have also helped many people who have experienced physical trauma or emotional abuse.
Each person, their family and environmental background is different, so I will attempt to rule out any underlying conditions such as Bipolar Disorder, Schizophrenia or Schizoaffective Disorder that could be the source of your current difficulties. I understand that some cultures may not view these conditions or any mental health condition as real or legitimate, so I will make every effort to respect your perspective while also providing information on these conditions as necessary.
It takes courage to seek for a more fulfilling and happier life and to take the first steps towards a change. If you are ready to take that step I am here to support and empower you.
I look forward to working with you!
