Holistic Jungian therapist specializing in trauma and relationships
I am a licensed clinical social worker in the state of Michigan and the state of Iowa. I use a person-centered and strengths-based approach that begins where you are in the present and focuses on your strengths in order to move forward. I have been trained in the use of a number of clinical approaches, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, Play Therapy for children, Solution Focused Therapy and more. I will help you explore the problems you are facing in order to identify the changes that you want to make in your life. I began my career as a School Social Worker, an experience that gave me insight into the problems that children face in schools. During those years, I specialized in working with children and their families. I also worked as a clinical social worker providing behavioral health counseling to children, adolescents and adults in a private mental health clinic and later ina large family service agency. My goal in each counseling session is for you to leave feeling more hopeful and confident that you can move forward in a positive way. A receptionist once told me that my clients come in looking sad and go out with a smile, a compliment that warmed my heart.

Many people consider whether online therapy can truly help with common concerns. For issues such as stress, anxiety, depression, relationship difficulties, or navigating life changes, online therapy has been shown to be just as effective as traditional in-person sessions.
A key benefit is flexibility – clients can connect in the way that feels most comfortable, whether by video calls, phone sessions, live chat, or in-app messaging. This range of options makes it easier to integrate therapy into a busy schedule.
Licensed professionals provide online therapy, and if a different match is desired, it is possible to switch therapists. For many people, the convenience and comparable effectiveness of online therapy make it a practical choice for addressing everyday mental health and life challenges.
