Catherine Foster is a person-centred counsellor based in the United Kingdom who offers a warm, genuine and non-judgemental space for people feeling overwhelmed, uncertain or unfulfilled.
She supports clients through life changes and painful experiences, and has experience with issues such as bereavement and loss, stress, divorce, workplace bullying, low self-esteem, LGBTQ+ concerns and family disagreements. She also works with relationship difficulties, anxiety and depression, and other challenges clients bring.
With five years of clinical experience, Catherine views each person as the expert in their own life. Her role is to walk alongside clients as they explore their thoughts and feelings, helping them identify existing strengths, practical skills and new coping strategies to move forward.
Sessions can be conversational, creative or offered in silence - the pace and approach are guided by what the client needs. Catherine aims to create a comfortable environment for both people who have attended counselling before and those seeking support for the first time. Contact her to find out more.
