Holistic Jungian therapist specializing in trauma and relationships
I am Cathy Boone. I am licensed and credentialed in Texas with twenty-nine years of professional work experience in the educational setting. Nineteen years of my experience is as an elementary school counselor. From my school experience, I spent a considerable amount of time working with clients on a variety of issues such as stress and anxiety management, goal setting, and self regulation. Furthermore, I worked with individuals experiencing trauma and abuse, as well as coping with the effects of these issues. Supporting clients as they work through grief and postpartum experiences are also in my expertise.
I believe in treating everyone with respect, sensitivity, and compassion. I use Cognitive Behavior Therapy in my practice. This type of therapy involves identifying and challenging irrational feelings and thought patterns to change behavior.
I will tailor our dialog and treatment plan to meet your unique and specific needs. Taking the first step to sign up for therapy can take courage and I am proud of you for getting started! You can check my calendar for availability, however I am flexible with my schedule.
Please let me know if you have questions or concerns that I can answer.

For many common concerns – including stress, anxiety, depression, relationship challenges, and major life changes – online therapy can be as effective as traditional in-person care. Evidence and practice both show that these types of difficulties often respond well to remote sessions with a trained therapist.
One of the primary benefits is flexibility. Individuals can choose the mode of connection that fits their lifestyle and comfort level – video calls, phone conversations, live chat, or in-app messaging – which makes it easier to integrate therapy into a busy schedule.
Sessions are provided by licensed professionals and, if a different therapeutic fit is needed, clients may switch to another therapist. This format aims to make mental health support more accessible while maintaining the same core goals as face-to-face work: addressing symptoms, building skills, and improving daily functioning.
Deciding whether online therapy is right for you depends on your preferences and needs, but for many people seeking help with everyday mental health concerns, it offers a flexible and effective option.
