I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) with over 20 years of experience working in the field of counseling and mental health. I have worked with clients with a wide range of concerns including depression, anxiety, relationship issues, career challenges, LGBT, and chronic mental illness.
My counseling style is warm and patient. I believe in treating everyone with respect, sensitivity, and compassion. My approach combines humanistic, interpersonal, and cognitive-behavioral counseling. I am also formally trained in EMDR.
With the ups and downs of life, I understand that you are most likely here during a more challenging time. You may be experiencing loss of a relationship, struggling with addiction, loss of job, arguing with your partner, feeling lonely, struggling with family issues, feeling unworthy or not good enough. It takes courage to seek help during these times, and I am here to help you.
I am glad that you are here and I am looking forward to working with you.

Candace Sebastian is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker licensed in California and Oregon and practices in Oregon. She has three years of experience providing counseling and mental health support.
She works with people facing stress, anxiety, relationship and family conflicts, depression, addictions, LGBT concerns, intimacy-related issues, anger management, and career difficulties. Her style is warm and patient, and she meets each person with respect, sensitivity, and compassion.
Candace combines humanistic, interpersonal, and cognitive-behavioral approaches in her work and is also formally trained in EMDR. She understands that many people seek therapy during difficult periods – for example after the end of a relationship, while struggling with addiction, following job loss, during repeated arguments with a partner, when feeling lonely, when dealing with family problems, or while coping with feelings of unworthiness.
She acknowledges the courage it takes to reach out for help and is prepared to support clients as they work through these challenges.
For many common concerns – such as stress, anxiety, depression, relationship challenges, or navigating life transitions – online therapy is a viable option and can be just as effective as in-person care for these issues.
One major benefit is flexibility. People can choose the format that best fits their life and comfort level – video calls, phone sessions, live chat, or in-app messaging – which makes it easier to attend sessions regularly.
Licensed professionals provide online therapy, and if someone feels a different match would be better they can switch therapists at any time. This approach can make consistent care more accessible while accommodating busy schedules and changing needs.
