Holistic Jungian therapist specializing in trauma and relationships
Welcome! My name is Brianne Phillips. I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in Kansas, Missouri, North Dakota, and Louisiana, and hold the credential of a Registered Play Therapist-Supervisor. Over the past 17 years, I have spent my time as a social worker in various settings: in schools, in private practice, in a hospital, with youth in foster care, and with survivors of domestic violence. Even though the settings were all different, one thing stayed the same. Our success and challenges are influenced by our lived experiences and our perceptions of these experiences. I have helped people cope with change, parenting challenges, relationship stressors and conflicts, trauma, and managing the everyday stressors that go along with life in general.
When I’m working with clients, I genuinely want to get to know you. Starting sessions with a new therapist can seem a bit intimidating. Making sure you feel heard and valued is important to me. I want you to know you’ve got someone in your corner. For me, learning about the different parts of your life is important as we embark on this journey. As a social worker, I believe in taking a holistic approach to therapy; looking at the big picture rather than one tiny segment. Once we see where you fit into the big picture and how your perceptions and experiences have shaped your behavior, we can begin to challenge your thought processes to change your thinking and/or past behaviors. We all know the saying, “If you continue to do the same thing, you’ll continue to get the same result.”
I am confident that as a team, you and I can take on the challenges you’re facing, so you can try new ideas and begin to see positive results.

Brianne Phillips is a licensed clinical social worker who practices in Kansas and holds clinical social work licensure across multiple states, including Missouri, North Dakota, Louisiana, and Minnesota. She is also credentialed as a Registered Play Therapist-Supervisor.
Over the course of 18 years she has provided social work and therapeutic services in a range of settings – in schools, in private practice, in a hospital, working with youth in foster care, and supporting survivors of domestic violence. Those varied experiences have reinforced her understanding that people’s challenges and strengths are shaped by their life experiences and how they interpret them.
Her clinical approach is holistic and collaborative. Brianne takes time to learn about the different parts of a person’s life so she can see the larger context that influences behavior and emotions. She helps people cope with change, parenting challenges, relationship stressors and conflicts, trauma, and the routine stresses of daily life. By exploring how perceptions and past experiences have shaped current patterns, she supports clients in examining and challenging thought processes to shift thinking and behavior.
Brianne emphasizes partnership in therapy. She aims to create a space where people feel heard and valued, and she brings confidence that, working together, clients can try new strategies and begin to see positive change. Her practice focuses on areas such as relationship issues, family conflicts, parenting concerns, self-esteem, coping with life changes, stress and anxiety, trauma and abuse, grief, intimacy-related issues, anger management, career difficulties, and depression.
For many common concerns – including stress, anxiety, depression, relationship struggles, and adjusting to life changes – online therapy can be as effective as traditional in-person treatment. Research and clinical practice indicate that remote sessions work well for these types of issues.
One major benefit of online therapy is flexibility. People can meet with a therapist in the format that fits their life best – video sessions, phone calls, live chat, or asynchronous in-app messaging. This range of options helps make therapy easier to schedule and keep, even amid busy routines.
All participating clinicians are licensed professionals, and individuals have the option to switch therapists if they need a different fit. For many, the convenience and accessibility of online therapy make it a practical and effective way to address everyday mental health concerns and relationship challenges.
