Beverly Bennett

Beverly P. Bennett is a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) with 28 years of experience supporting adults and couples through life’s most challenging seasons. She is a Caribbean native and earned two master’s degrees in Christian Counseling from Oral Roberts University, graduating magna cum laude. In addition to being licensed, she is also an LPC Supervisor (LPCS), which means she provides supervision to aspiring counselors pursuing licensure in South Carolina and Oklahoma. She also holds the National Certified Counselor (NCC) credential, a national board certification for counselors.

Beverly brings extensive leadership and clinical experience from a wide range of settings, including community mental health centers, psychiatric hospitals, group and residential homes, juvenile and adult criminal justice programs, therapeutic foster care, and intensive outpatient programs for substance use (IOP). Her work commonly addresses concerns such as stress, anxiety, depression, trauma and abuse, addictions, grief, relationship challenges, parenting stress, anger, self-esteem, career concerns, bipolar disorder, and coping with major life changes, along with topics like attachment issues, divorce and separation, domestic violence, infidelity, guilt and shame, isolation, and OCD-related concerns.

She is a Certified PREPARE/ENRICH Facilitator, using a well-known relationship assessment and skill-building program with couples, and a Certified Batterer’s Intervention Program (BIP) Facilitator for work related to domestic violence or partner abuse. Beverly aims to help clients move toward healthier patterns, clearer goals, and more meaningful lives. She typically responds to messages within 24 hours, with the exception of weekends, and encourages clients to mark messages as urgent when a faster response is needed.
