As a Person-centred counsellor I will offer you a safe space, free from judgement, and assist you to explore your thoughts and feelings at your own pace, enabling you to make sense of your experiences. I will support you to find solutions and any make any changes if you so wish. I will listen with honesty, respect and empathy to what you feel is important to you.
I have experience working with, but not limited to, anxiety, stress, depression, trauma, abuse, relationship and family conflicts and low-confidence. Even if you are feeling generally OK, however have the feeling that something is not quite right or that you are not living life to your full potential, then this is something we can explore together. I believe that you are the expert of your own life and that you have many strengths that will assist you in overcoming things that challenge you, sometimes we just need a little help uncovering them.
I am a registered member of the BACP (British Association of Counsellors and Psychotherapists) and I observe BACP ethical framework for the counselling profession. I attend frequent supervision at which I discuss my casework to ensure I am working in the most effective and ethical way for each of my clients.
