Holistic Jungian therapist specializing in trauma and relationships
You have already taken the first step in achieving your emotional and mental health goals by exploring Betterhelp and searching for someone to talk with. The next step is finding a therapist that you can truly connect with to establish that partnership in helping make your goals and desires for therapy a reality!
I am Ashley Brummett, a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with over 18 years of experience as a Social Worker and over 10 years of experience in counseling. I have worked in a variety of settings such as Child Protection, Adults with Cognitive Disabilities, Hospice and Palliative Care, Inpatient hospital, Outpatient Mental Health Clinic, Long-term Care Facility, and Dialysis Clinics. Those settings have provided me with experience in depression, anxiety, grief/bereavement, adjustment to life changes, caregiver fatigue/stress, and coping with other challenging life events.
Personally, I have dealt with divorce, blending of families, caregiver fatigue, and grief/loss, which allows me to be especially empathetic to those circumstances. I am also a parent to teenagers!
My approach is warm and genuine. I believe in open, honest communication with no judgement. I am very compassionate and empathetic and strive to make you feel better with each interaction. I do have Christian beliefs and am more than willing to incorporate that into therapy, however, am completely comfortable if you do not want that. I will truly meet you where you are.
My availability is typically evenings and weekends, however, there may be weekdays that I can be available during the day. I am available via call, video, or text. I will typically check my messages on Betterhelp at least once each day and will respond to you as quickly as possible.
Thank you so much and I look forward to being of service to you!

For many common concerns such as stress, anxiety, depression, relationship difficulties, and managing life transitions, remote therapy can be an effective option comparable to in-person care. Research and practice show that online sessions often work well for these types of issues.
One major benefit is flexibility – clients can choose the communication method that suits them best, whether that is video calls, phone sessions, live chat, or in-app messaging. This adaptability makes it easier to fit therapy into busy schedules and to maintain continuity of care when life gets hectic.
All participating clinicians are licensed professionals, and if a client decides they would prefer a different therapist, switching to someone else is possible. Online therapy offers a practical, accessible way to work with qualified therapists while accommodating individual preferences and lifestyles.
