Arminda Graves is an accredited social worker registered with the AASW (Australian Association of Social Workers) who brings six years of professional experience to her practice in Australia.
She supports people experiencing stress and anxiety, relationship difficulties, family conflict and depression, helping clients create an open, safe space where thoughts and feelings can be expressed without fear of judgement. Her approach is practical and empathetic, focused on empowering each person to take the first steps toward a more fulfilling and happier life.
Arminda holds a Master of Social Work, a Post Graduate Diploma in Counselling (Behavioural Health) and a Post Graduate Certificate in Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT). She is a certified Interpersonal Psychotherapy (IPT) Level B clinician and a certified facilitator of Circle of Security. She works with clients from a range of backgrounds, including people who are Christian, gay, older, non-religious, conservative and liberal, and welcomes those seeking care from a therapist of colour and a female therapist.
Arminda is committed to supporting and empowering clients as they navigate change and build coping skills for life’s challenges.
