Holistic Jungian therapist specializing in trauma and relationships
Congratulations on taking that first step, it’s usually the hardest one to take.
I am a Licensed Master Social Worker (LMSW) in Michigan and a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in Colorado. I have over 14 years experience working with professionals dealing with life stressors and over 5 years providing support and coaching. A main focus in my treatment is establishing a therapeutic alliance with the client. I believe having a good connection helps facilitate effective counseling and provides the best outcomes. I am supportive, compassionate, and am present. I make sure to meet each individual where they are at and actively listen to and respect where they would like to see themselves in the future with the help of therapy.
I have found that there are times when all of us need an ear to lean on – I am an expert at being that ear. There are areas of our lives that we may find we are stuck or just need to sound it out – and our family and friends have heard it so many times that they tend to agree with us, rather than provide new insights. My wish is to be able to provide those insights for you to break through whatever may be holding you back – be it work situations, self-concept issues, or clouded thinking. I have successfully used cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), emotional freedom techniques (EFT), and self-assessments and questioning to help others move through blocks and obtain greater clarity in their lives.

Angela VanSchoick recognizes that beginning therapy is often the hardest step and welcomes people who are ready to move forward. She is licensed as a clinical social worker in Colorado and as a master social worker in Michigan, and brings 15 years of experience supporting professionals through life stressors, with more than five years focused on providing support and coaching.
Angela prioritizes building a strong therapeutic alliance, believing a genuine connection produces more effective counseling and better results. She offers a supportive, compassionate presence, meeting each person where they are and listening carefully to understand where they want to go.
People often need an attentive ear, and Angela is skilled at providing that perspective. When clients feel stuck or have repeated conversations with friends and family that yield little new insight, she helps identify barriers related to work situations, self-concept, or clouded thinking. Angela has used cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), emotional freedom techniques (EFT), and structured self-assessments and questioning to help clients move through blocks and gain greater clarity.
Many people ask whether online therapy can truly help. For common concerns such as stress, anxiety, depression, relationship challenges, or navigating life changes, online therapy has been shown to be just as effective as traditional in-person sessions.
A major benefit is flexibility – you can connect with a therapist in the way that feels most comfortable, whether by video call, phone session, live chat, or in-app messaging. That flexibility makes it easier to fit therapy into a busy schedule and maintain continuity of care.
Therapists offering online services are licensed professionals, and you have the option to switch therapists if you decide a different fit would better meet your needs.
