Angela Diac is a UK licensed psychotherapist with 12 years of professional experience, offering online short- or long-term counselling and psychotherapy for anxiety, stress, depression, coping with loss and grief, life transitions, trauma, relationship issues and more.
Life can feel overwhelming, confusing and at times frightening. Angela works with people who are navigating major changes - including expats who feel stuck, lacking direction, or struggling with anxiety, loneliness and cultural adaptation after moving abroad. She supports those wrestling with questions about whether to stay or return home and the many emotions such transitions can bring.
Together with clients she explores needs, preferences and unhelpful beliefs, teaching and practising practical skills to reduce stress and build confidence. Her approach aims to provide tools to manage difficult periods of expat life and to help people feel more empowered and less anxious.
As an experienced holistic therapist and an expat herself, Angela seeks to be genuine, empathetic and non-judgemental. Her work is client-led - she walks alongside people in the direction they set and at a pace they choose. She welcomes tears of joy or sadness in the counselling room and offers support regardless of age, background, sex or skin colour.
Angela studied Existential, Psychodynamic and CBT approaches, with the Person Centred Approach at the core of her practice. She can help with abuse, anger management, anxiety, bereavement, cancer, child-related issues, cultural issues, depression, health-related issues, identity issues, loss, post-traumatic stress, pregnancy-related issues, redundancy, relationships, self esteem, self-harm, spirituality, stress, trauma, women’s issues and work-related issues.
She believes that with appropriate professional support people can move through suffering and adapt to change. Contact Angela Diac today to book a first consultation.
