Holistic Jungian therapist specializing in trauma and relationships
I am an experienced counsellor using a systemic mode of inquiry allied with a client-focused approach to listening. This means that I consider your current family and social circumstances in addition to your internal presentations. I work with your trauma and how you feel about it; it’s YOUR trauma and I certainly won’t tell you otherwise. We will unpick what might be holding you back and see if any changes you can come up with might work. I don’t have a set-template I use for each client, instead I use polite enquiry and really listen to the client to see how I can be of service.
I have experience of counselling survivors of sexual abuse, people going through grief and challenging social circumstances. I hope that you get the support you need and deserve.

Andrew Lawton-Collins is a UK-based male therapist with five years of clinical experience, specialising in grief, parenting, self-esteem and coping with life changes. He combines a systemic mode of inquiry with a client-focused approach to listening, attending to both a person’s family and social context as well as their internal experience.
He works directly with trauma and with how clients feel about that trauma, acknowledging that the experience belongs to the individual and he will not tell them otherwise. Together he and the client explore what may be holding them back and consider whether changes the client suggests might be helpful.
Rather than following a fixed template, he uses polite enquiry and careful listening to tailor his work and determine how best to be of service. He has experience supporting survivors of sexual abuse and people navigating grief and challenging social circumstances.
He hopes clients find the support they need and deserve.
