Anastasia Miloslavskaya is a holistic integrative psychotherapist and mindfulness coach practising in Australia. She has lived in four countries, graduated from two universities and worked in many different organisations before opening her private practice, HERE4U Counselling & Psychotherapy. She now frequently sees international students and individuals who have relocated to Australia and are facing adaptation and adjustment challenges.
Anastasia recognises that while adaptation often happens over time, the grief and loss involved in changing countries can be profound and life-changing. She emphasises the importance of addressing loneliness and despair before they develop into depression and of learning to manage anxiety and fears that can slow adaptation and harm overall health and wellbeing. She also highlights the need to restore harmony at home and in relationships before anxiety and fear cause lasting damage.
Her work aims to help people reach a place of inner harmony that allows them to be present and enjoy where they are. One client said at the end of a session, “I feel like I am not just learning to acclimatise to a life in Australia but am becoming more confident to live the life I was meant to live, adapting to life.” Another client said, “I never knew that a sense of relief can accompany grief and you normalised it for me in the most humane and kind way possible, I am truly grateful.”
She thinks outside the box and offers clients a fresh perspective. Her core values and the perspective she practises from are Respect, Kindness and Safety. Her personal and professional mantra is: People are what matters!
With five years of experience, Anastasia specialises in grief, parenting, self-esteem, career concerns and ADHD. She is a female, non-religious therapist who works flexibly and honours the individual differences of each person so they feel safe, validated and heard.
A creative person, she enjoys painting, writing, singing, dancing, pets and nature in her spare time. Anastasia is passionate about reducing stigma around mental health and help seeking. Her message is simple: she is here for you and you are not alone.
