Holistic Jungian therapist specializing in trauma and relationships
Hi! I’m Amy and I’m a licensed professional counselor in the state of Missouri. Along with my Master’s of Science degree in Counseling Psychology, I have a post-master’s veteran behavioral health certificate. Over the past 8 years, I have worked across a wide spectrum of clients. I have experience with anxiety, depression, bipolar, substance use disorders, anger management, family conflict, crisis intervention, goal setting, and with clients just wanting to optimize their mental health.
My personal approach to therapy is to create a partnership with a client working towards the goals the client wants to achieve. From the first conversation until the end, I maintain unconditional positive regard towards my clients. I believe therapy can be both about coping skills and achieving goals, but also about the process of discovering yourself through talk therapy. I utilize cognitive-behavioral approaches, dialectical behavioral techniques, motivational interviewing, and mindfulness techniques depending on individual needs of clients.

Many people ask whether online therapy can really help. For common concerns such as stress, anxiety, depression, relationship challenges, or navigating life changes, online therapy has been shown to be comparable in effectiveness to traditional in-person sessions.
One major benefit is flexibility – individuals can connect in the format that works best for them, whether that is video calls, phone sessions, live chat, or in-app messaging. This adaptability makes it easier to fit therapy into a busy schedule and maintain continuity of care.
All therapists offering online services are licensed professionals, and if someone decides they would prefer a different therapeutic match, it is possible to switch therapists at any time. Online therapy offers a convenient way to access professional support while keeping the focus on the concerns that matter most to the individual.
