Holistic Jungian therapist specializing in trauma and relationships
My name is Amanda Dunn, MA, LPC. I am a Licensed Professional Counselor in the state of Colorado. I have worked in the mental health field for 5 years, primarily in outpatient settings. I have the most experience working with teens, young adults, new parents, and those who are struggling with anxiety, stress, depression, and processing past trauma.
My counseling style is warm, eclectic, and client-centered. I uses a variety of approaches to best meet your needs and I often pull from cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavioral therapy (DBT), solution-focused therapy, and more to target your areas of concern. I find I focus on each person as an individual and love to take a collaborative approach with you to find the best way to meet your personal goals. I believe in authenticity as a part of the therapeutic approach as a way to connect and cooperate with you.
“People cannot change other people, only themselves.” – Unknown. I believe this quote is important when considering if you are ready for therapy. As a therapist, I am happy to walk along with you on your journey and provide you with information, education, support, and kindness as you make the changes you are ready to.
I believe anyone can benefit from counseling and taking that first step can be intimidating and well worth it!

Many people wonder whether online therapy can really help. For common concerns such as stress, anxiety, depression, relationship challenges, or navigating life changes, online therapy has been shown to be just as effective as traditional in-person sessions.
One major benefit is flexibility – you can connect with a therapist in the format that fits your life, whether that is a video call, a phone session, live chat, or in-app messaging. This adaptability makes it easier to fit consistent care into a busy schedule.
Therapists available online are licensed professionals, and clients may choose to switch to a different therapist at any time if they feel a different fit is needed. For many people, online therapy offers an accessible way to address everyday concerns and work toward personal goals.
