Holistic Jungian therapist specializing in trauma and relationships
Hello, I am Dr. Alcione Wright. I hold a Ph.D. in Transpersonal Psychology and a Masters degree in social work including 20 years of clinical and medical social work in the state of Michigan. My treatment approaches include Person-Centered Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Positive Psychology, Emotional Freedom, and Mindful Therapy.
I work in a personal and warm manner focusing on the emotional and psychological needs of my clients. My approach to treatment is multidimensional and focuses on personal well-being physically, emotionally, and spiritually. I feel that healing requires an integration of the mind, body, and soul. In harmony, these three elements help overcome daily stressors, provide a positive approach to life, and an appreciation of our own physical being. I have experience treating depression, anxiety, grief, life transitions, wellbeing, aging, geriatric mental health, and end-of-life issues. Psychological, physical, and spiritual experiences can be difficult to process alone. I can help guide you through these sometimes difficult challenges and integrate transcendent experiences into everyday life.

Many people ask whether meeting with a therapist online can truly help. For common concerns such as stress, anxiety, depression, relationship difficulties, and navigating life changes, online therapy has been shown to be comparable in effectiveness to in-person sessions.
One major benefit is flexibility. Clients can choose the format that fits their life best – video appointments, phone sessions, live chat, or in-app messaging – making it easier to maintain continuity of care around work, family, or other obligations.
Therapists who provide online care are licensed professionals, and clients may change therapists if they prefer a different match. Online therapy makes consistent access to licensed care more convenient while supporting the same kinds of therapeutic goals people seek in traditional settings.
