I spent 7 years working in group homes with young men and women who have advanced mental health and behavioral issues and have also worked with Department of Corrections meeting with clients in Half Way Housing and on Parole/Probation.
I believe that the therapeutic relationship is vitally important to success in treatment. My treatment style is warm and understanding but also straight forward. I utilize a variety of skills and therapy styles to create the kind of treatment that works best for you and your individual needs. I often use a number of different treatment modalities including CBT, DBT, Solution-Focused, Mindfulness, Person-Centered and Motivational Interviewing. I provide a supportive environment and a safe place to really be your authentic self. I am not here to judge. I am open minded, ready to listen, and most importantly, I am here to help. Whether you are here for a mental health issue, a life change, are struggling with a relationship problem, or if you just need someone that you can talk/vent to, I’ve got you! I appreciate you taking the time to consider allowing me to join you on your journey to healing and happiness and I look forward to meeting with you.

Abigail has worked as a counselor since 2008 and brings 13 years of clinical experience to her work. She is currently employed in the field of medication-assisted treatment for substance use and addiction, and she also maintains a private practice where she sees clients for a range of concerns including depression, anxiety, and PTSD.
Her background includes seven years working in group homes with young men and women who had advanced mental health and behavioral needs, and she has experience collaborating with the Department of Corrections while meeting with clients in halfway housing and on parole or probation. She strives to offer a supportive setting where clients can be their authentic selves without judgment, and she comes to sessions ready to listen and to help.
Whether someone seeks support for a mental health concern, is navigating life changes, is struggling in a relationship, or simply needs a place to talk and process, Abigail aims to provide practical guidance and compassionate care. She appreciates the time it takes to consider beginning therapy and looks forward to meeting those who choose to work with her on their journey toward healing and greater well-being.
For many common concerns – such as stress, anxiety, depression, relationship difficulties, or managing life transitions – online therapy has been found to work as effectively as traditional in-person sessions. It can be a practical option for people seeking support for everyday mental health needs.
One major benefit is flexibility. Clients can connect with therapists in the format that suits them best – via video calls, phone sessions, live chat, or in-app messaging – which makes it easier to fit care into busy schedules.
All therapists offering online services are licensed professionals, and if someone feels a different fit would be better they are free to switch to another therapist at any time. For many people, remote therapy offers a convenient and effective pathway to consistent support and progress.
