Abigail Tague

Holistic Jungian therapist specializing in trauma and relationships

About

Often times we only see the version of others that they want us to see. Then we are left judging our insides based off of their outsides; believing ourselves to be “abnormal.” The shame of feeling alone can lead us to shape shift; squeezing into fragmented versions of what we think we are supposed to be or feel. In our work together we can explore the “You” beyond your representative self and find ways to express the parts of yourself who want to be seen and known.

I believe when we shut out our shadowy parts, we close the door on our light too. Through re-building a mind body connection, practicing self-compassion, embodying authenticity, building shame resilience, and remembering the feeling of alignment with our needs and values, we can begin to know ourselves again. And in turn, better connect to those around us.

I individualize treatment to meet the needs of the person or couple in front of me. Whatever path we take together in the direction of your goals, you will lead the way, and I will walk beside you every step.

About

Abigail Tague, MA, LICSW (LICSW127624), offers a compassionate, relational approach to therapy that centers authenticity and self-reconnection. She recognizes how easy it is to internalize other people’s curated versions of themselves and to judge one’s inner experience by the polished exterior of others. That sense of isolation and shame can lead people to compress themselves into fragmented shapes of who they think they should be.

In therapy she helps clients explore the self beneath these representative masks and find ways to bring forward the parts that want to be seen and known. Abigail emphasizes the value of reclaiming both the shadowed and luminous aspects of experience – when shadow parts are denied, access to personal strengths and clarity can also be limited.

Her work focuses on rebuilding a mind-body connection, cultivating self-compassion, practicing authentic expression, and strengthening resilience to shame so clients can realign with their needs and values. As this alignment grows, relationships with others often become more genuine and connected.

Abigail individualizes treatment to fit the person or couple in front of her. Whatever course the work takes, clients lead the way and she accompanies them at each step.

Is Online Therapy the Right Step Toward Better Mental Health?

Many people wonder whether therapy delivered online can truly help. For common concerns such as stress, anxiety, depression, relationship difficulties, or navigating life transitions, online therapy has been shown to be comparable to traditional in-person care.

A major benefit is flexibility – clients can connect in the format that suits them best, whether that is video sessions, phone calls, live chat, or in-app messaging. This flexibility often makes it easier to incorporate therapy into a busy life.

Therapists offering online care are licensed professionals, and individuals may change therapists if they feel a different fit would be better. Online therapy can expand access to skilled providers while preserving many of the core elements of effective therapeutic work.
