Holistic Jungian therapist specializing in trauma and relationships
Hi! My name is Robin H Mixon, and I am an LCSW in Georgia. I’ve been proving therapy services for about 20 years. Much of my experience has been working with adults in community mental health as well as in private practice with an emphasis on anxiety, stress management, depression, family/relationship vulnerabilities, communication difficulties, and work/life balance.
My approach to therapy is primarily solution-focused and CBT although I have experience in other therapeutic approaches. I am level 3 Gottman trained as well. I believe that in order to work toward overall well-being, it is important to address challenges from a holistic perspective. I believe in treating others with dignity and respect, with non-judgment, sensitivity, and compassion. My goal is to partner with you to work toward your identified goals.
Seeking therapy is not the easiest task – it takes courage to share your world with someone. I do not take that for granted and I look forward to helping you live your best life!

Many people wonder whether remote therapy can truly help. For common concerns such as stress, anxiety, depression, relationship struggles, or managing life transitions, online therapy has been found to be comparable in effectiveness to traditional in-person care.
One major benefit is convenience – clients can connect in whatever way suits them best, whether by video call, phone, live chat, or in-app messaging. This flexibility makes it simpler to fit sessions into a busy schedule and to maintain continuity of care.
Therapists offering online services are licensed professionals, and if someone decides a different therapeutic match would be better they typically have the option to switch providers. Overall, online therapy can be a practical and effective option for many people seeking support.
