Holistic Jungian therapist specializing in trauma and relationships
Hello!
My name is Karyl, and I am a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in the state of Georgia. I recognize the courage it takes to reach out for help with personal matters. It would be my privilege to walk with you as you navigate through life’s challenges.
I have experience working with adults struggling with various issues such as depression, anxiety, obsessions/compulsions, post-traumatic stress, substance abuse, mania, hoarding, and dissociation related to traumatic events. I have worked with people of various backgrounds, sexual orientations, genders, religions, and cultures. I care about what is difficult in your life and want to help with finding relief.
My counseling style is warm, attentive and non-judgmental. I work from a psychodynamic perspective which means I understand how past and current stressors can affect responses to stressful situations. I also utilize cognitive therapy which is a way to discover how thoughts affect feelings and behaviors. I have experience working with those struggling with past trauma and abuse and am trauma informed in my counseling.
I would love working with you and look forward to meeting you.

Many people ask whether therapy delivered online can genuinely help. For common concerns such as stress, anxiety, depression, relationship difficulties, or managing life changes, online therapy has been shown to be just as effective as traditional in-person sessions.
The flexibility online care offers is a major advantage – clients can choose the format that feels most comfortable, including video calls, phone sessions, live chat, or in-app messaging. This range of options often makes it easier to fit therapy into a busy life.
Therapists providing these services are licensed professionals, and clients are free to switch therapists at any time if they want a different fit.
