Holistic Jungian therapist specializing in trauma and relationships
Hello!
My name is Geri and I am a Licensed Professional Counselor in the state of Georgia and certified by the National Board of Certified Counselors as a National Certified Counselor, located in the Metro Atlanta area. I have been working in the mental health field for 5 years in a community agency setting and private practice. However, I have worked as a helping professional for over 18 years in both the private and public sectors which has contributed to my wealth of knowledge, diverse skills, and clinical understanding that aids in helping others to transition through life with more ease.
I enjoy working with adolescents, adults, and couples. My experience working with individuals ranges from mood disorders, relational issues, communication, conflict-resolution, grief/loss, and self-esteem. With compassion, understanding, and empathy, I will work with you so that you feel empowered and supported to live a more productive, self-determined and satisfied life.
I believe that you cannot be understood without considering the whole person. Therefore, I use a wholistic/holistic approach when addressing your concerns. My primary therapeutic style is guided by a Cognitive Behavioral approach; however, I sometimes incorporate Reality, Narrative, Solution-Focused, and Positive Psychology models. Whichever approach is taken, it will be my pleasure to help you on your journey!
I look forward to hearing from you soon!
Kind regards,
Geri

Many people wonder whether talking with a therapist online can truly help. For common challenges such as stress, anxiety, depression, relationship struggles, or navigating life transitions, online therapy has been shown to be just as effective as traditional in-person sessions.
One major benefit is flexibility – clients can connect in the way that suits them best, whether through video calls, phone sessions, live chat, or in-app messaging. This range of options makes it easier to fit therapy into a busy schedule and to maintain continuity of care.
All participating therapists are licensed professionals, and if a different fit is needed clients can switch therapists at any time. For many people, online therapy offers an accessible, effective path to working on emotional and relational concerns while fitting treatment into everyday life.
