Greetings,
My name is Jonathan De Jesus, a Licensed Professional Counselor, licensed in the state of Texas since 2017. My pronouns are He/Him/His. I have been working with clients to inspire growth and change throughout life. I have worked with client concerns ranging from ADHD, Anxiety, career change, along with behavioral, relationship, parental, and familial issues, to name a few.
My counseling style is conversational, interactive, and psychoeducational. I believe in respect, compassion, and fair treatment for all people. While counseling may involve challenge, I hold to a non-confrontational style of challenge based on the client’s comfort level. My counseling style includes elements of cognitive-behavioral, solution focused, and dialectical behavioral theories. Treatment plans and flow of sessions will be based on specific needs and the comfort of the client.
Any move toward change and growth can be challenging. I would be honored to accompany you through this growth and change ahead.
Looking forward to working with you.

Many people wonder whether remote counseling can truly help. For common concerns such as stress, anxiety, depression, relationship challenges, or adjusting to life transitions, online therapy has been shown to be just as effective as traditional in-person sessions for most individuals.
One major benefit is greater flexibility – clients can choose the format that works best for them, whether that is video sessions, phone calls, live chat, or in-app messaging. This flexibility often makes it easier to fit therapy into a busy schedule.
Therapists offering online care are licensed professionals, and clients may change therapists if they prefer a different fit. Overall, online therapy provides a convenient, adaptable way to access professional support for many common mental health and life concerns.
