I am a licensed therapist in Georgia and have been specializing in Attachment for 5 years. My clients have experienced anxiety or avoidance in relationships, which makes it difficult to find emotional satisfaction and stability with others. This results in low confidence, overthinking, loneliness, and frustration.
Through our work together, you will learn how to break these distressing patterns. I help you resolve past experiences that have helped to create these cycles and develop skills you can use right now to create and maintain better relationships. This includes: setting boundaries, effectively voicing your needs and concerns, opening up to increase emotional connection while showing up as a safe space for them in return, and finding joy and contentment in your individuality.
There are a lot of pieces to the puzzle but through working specifically with these issues for several years, I have developed a systematic approach to putting it all together so you can understand where you are, how you got there, and how to move forward.
In addition to being a therapist, I am also a certified health coach and have a background in fitness training. In our sessions, this melds together for a balance of exploration and processing, as well as directive and solutions-focused when appropriate. I adjust based on your needs and personality so that we can get to the goal of Secure Attachment.
