Holistic Jungian therapist specializing in trauma and relationships
Hi there! My name is Cherri and I am a licensed professional counselor. I have over 20 years experience working in the mental health field. I have worked in a variety of settings including residential, community agency, outpatient, school-based, and virtual. Although that seems like a mouthful, it simply means that I have had experience working with a broad range and severity of clinical issues. I have the most experience working with anxiety, depression, stress reduction, family/relationship conflicts, life transitions, and complex trauma/abuse, I also have experience working with intellectual/developmental disabilities, and mild autism.
I use a person-centered, holistic, and integrative approach in treatment. This means I begin where you are and tailor the treatment approach to your needs while being sensitive to how your individual cultural identities and lifestyle choices impact your experience. I primarily use evidence based techniques including cognitive-behavioral therapy, dialectal behavior therapy, mindfulness, motivational interviewing, and solution-focused counseling.
I would describe my style as warm and supportive, and I am ready to help you tackle your struggle head-on. Collaboration is important – together we can work on establishing concrete goals and steps for you to help overcome your current problems. If you are looking for quick fixes, I am not the best counselor to work with. I believe in taking time and working on wellness slowly, holistically, and consistently. Just as physical health takes time and consistency, so does mental health. I look forward to helping you in any way I can!
My goal is to assist people in working towards fulfilling their fullest potential, healing, and regaining a new perspective on life.
Congratulations on taking those first steps to seek change. If you are ready to take that step I am here to support you.
I am looking forward to working with you!

For many common concerns – including stress, anxiety, depression, relationship difficulties, and life transitions – online therapy can be as effective as traditional in-person care. Research and clinical experience indicate that remote sessions are a valid option for addressing these everyday mental health needs.
One major benefit is convenience. Clients can connect with therapists in the format that best fits their life – video calls, phone sessions, live chat, or in-app messaging – making it simpler to schedule regular appointments and maintain continuity of care.
All participating clinicians are licensed professionals, and clients have the option to switch therapists if they seek a different fit. This flexibility, combined with evidence supporting online approaches for common issues, makes remote therapy a practical choice for many people pursuing mental health support.
