Holistic Jungian therapist specializing in trauma and relationships
I am a Licensed Marriage and family therapist in California. I have been working as a therapist since 2006. I have worked with clients with a wide range of concerns including depression, anxiety, relationship issues, parenting problems, divorce, Bipolar, Schizophrenia, and ADHD. I also helped many people who have experienced physical and emotional trauma. Prior to my work in mental health i worked as an EMT for 5 years in the emergency room and on an ambulance.
My style is eclectic, I don’t think there is a one size fits all. So, I think it is important to use all the tools in your tool box. I also think it is important to meet people where they are. I’ve worked with lots of different populations and I understand that your life makes you unique and may come with many different challenges. I’ve worked with people who come from lower socioeconomic status dealing with immigration issues to people from urban and rural areas. I think it is my job to learn about you so that I can, as I said before meet you where you are to help you get to where you want to be.
I know for some cultures going to therapy can be hard. If you’ve read this far it seems you are ready to do the work to get to where you would like to be. I ‘d love to help and be a part of your journey.
I look forward to working with you!

Dorian Dixon is a California-based Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist who brings a practical, person-centered approach to clinical work. He has been working as a therapist since 2006 and offers 14 years of experience addressing a broad range of concerns, including depression, anxiety, relationship difficulties, parenting challenges, divorce, bipolar disorder, schizophrenia, ADHD, and the effects of physical and emotional trauma.
Before entering the mental health field, Dorian spent five years working as an EMT in the emergency room and on an ambulance, experience that informs his calm, grounded approach to crisis and stress. He describes his clinical style as eclectic, favoring a flexible use of therapeutic tools to match each person’s needs rather than relying on a single method.
Dorian emphasizes meeting clients where they are and learning about the unique circumstances that shape each life. He has worked with diverse populations, from people facing immigration-related challenges and lower socioeconomic conditions to clients from both urban and rural settings. He also recognizes that cultural factors can make seeking therapy difficult for some people and aims to offer an accessible, respectful space for the work.
Dorian holds a California state license as a marriage and family therapist (CA LMFT 52533), and he welcomes the opportunity to support people taking steps toward change. He looks forward to working with individuals and families who are ready to move toward the goals that matter to them.
Many people wonder whether remote therapy can truly help. For a wide range of common concerns – such as stress, anxiety, depression, relationship challenges, or adjusting to life changes – online therapy can be just as effective as traditional in-person sessions.
One major benefit is convenience and flexibility. Clients can connect in the format that suits them best, whether through video calls, phone sessions, live chat, or in-app messaging. That flexibility makes it easier to fit therapy into busy schedules, reduce travel time, and maintain continuity of care.
These services are provided by licensed professionals, and clients have the option to switch therapists if they need a different fit. For many people seeking support with everyday mental health concerns, online therapy offers an accessible way to begin and sustain the therapeutic process.
